Arthur Hayes Says He Sold All Ethereum, Ethena and Uniswap Holdings, Will Stay on Sidelines for Now
Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, said he had sold his altcoin holdings, including Ethereum, and plans to stay on the sidelines for the time being.In a post on X on October 24, Hayes wrote that Maelstrom had taken profits on altcoins including Ethereum , Ethena (ENA) and Uniswap (UNI).He cited macroeconomic and geopolitical uncertainty as the reason for the sales. The market may need to fall before it can move higher, he wrote, adding that the current macro and geopolitical backdrop looks somewhat unstable.Hayes added that he would step back from the market for now and wait until there are signs conditions have stabilized.
