Asseto and AlfaR Launch Digital Transfer Agent Service System

Asseto announced on October 8 that it has partnered with licensed fund services provider AlfaR to build a digital transfer agent (DTA) service system. According to Odaily, the system is based on Asseto's on-chain infrastructure and is designed to record and maintain fund share and securities holder registers directly on the blockchain, making on-chain records the formal ownership registry.The two companies will jointly operate the business and integrate their technology over the long term. Asseto will provide tokenization technology, on-chain infrastructure, and distribution networks, while AlfaR will handle investor access, net asset value calculations, transfer agent services, and other fund administration functions. The partnership will begin with fund products and cover investor access, subscription, transfer, and redemption processes.The article said the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission announced on September 1 that it plans to revise transfer agent rules and would allow registered transfer agents to use blockchain as the formal master register of securities holders for the first time.
