Bitcoin Selling Pressure Builds as Peak Buyers Keep Cutting Losses
Selling pressure is building among Bitcoin investors who bought near the token's peak, according to an analysis by on-chain analytics firm Glassnode.Glassnode said on October 3 that Bitcoin is nearing the break-even level for buyers who entered at higher prices, prompting them to sell their holdings. Investors who bought during the 2025 bull market are now bringing more Bitcoin to the market each day than at any other point this year, while those who bought during the price decline are not selling, it added.According to the chart, selling increased as Bitcoin recently approached $90,000, bringing the token closer to the break-even point for investors who bought near previous highs.In particular, sales by holders who have owned Bitcoin for six to 12 months have risen clearly in recent days. Their average purchase price is about $89,100.
