Dunamu Reopens Upbit Lounge, Adding ESG and Brand Experiences to Customer Service Hub
Dunamu has revamped Upbit Lounge, the cryptocurrency exchange’s offline customer service center, into a space combining consultations with exhibitions and interactive experiences.Dunamu, the operator of crypto exchange Upbit, said on October 22 that it reopened the redesigned Upbit Lounge. It added ESG activities, brand introductions and market-data displays to the venue’s existing customer consultation and user-support functions.The first floor includes an information desk and the “Upbitree Garden.” Upbitree is Dunamu’s ESG brand that integrates its digital healing garden and Seed Vault NFT collection. Visitors can experience a space built around large LED visuals, sound and scent, and the design is intended to link visitors’ rest time with the creation of biodiversity conservation areas.The second-floor brand zone introduces Dunamu’s business developments since its founding and since the launch of Upbit, along with expansion plans for GIWA, its Web3 infrastructure brand. A kiosk called “UPb-ti” allows visitors to assess their investment tendencies and check related Upbit services. The Big Chart zone displays prices for major cryptocurrencies, the Upbit Composite Index and the Fear and Greed Index. A separate consultation zone is also in operation.The reopening event will run from October 22 to October 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Upbit members can participate by verifying their identity on site without a reservation. Visitors who flip a Bitcoin tile within 20 seconds will receive a Bitcoin coupon worth about $7, while the person who posts the fastest time during the event will receive Bitcoin worth about $722.A docent tour of about 10 minutes covering the main spaces will be held on the hour and half-hour. Participants will receive branded goods. The venue will also offer a mental wellness assessment program and prize events, and the photo booth and claw machine will be available until 5 p.m.Upbit Lounge is located on the first and second floors of Mirim Tower at 14 Teheran-ro 4-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It operates on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. A Dunamu official said the company hopes it will become an open venue for communication that offers customers useful information and a comfortable place to rest at the same time.
