Ethereum Foundation Publishes Proof of Concept for Humanitarian Aid Coordination Network

The Ethereum Foundation has published a proof of concept for a humanitarian aid coordination network. According to Foresight News, the foundation’s technical team worked with humanitarian organizations to develop the Ethereum-based network, which combines decentralized identity with privacy-preserving payment rails. The design uses ERC-4337, stealth addresses and Semaphore, keeps personal data off-chain, and uses zero-knowledge proofs to verify credentials without revealing the issuer. The team also tested its performance on low-end Android devices, and the related code is open source on GitHub.
