The payments cover principal and yield shortfalls and will go directly to users' original staking addresses without a separate application.A settlement calculation error caused the shortfalls and hurt the staking product's credibility. The compensation puts HSK back in affected users' hands and addresses the amounts missing from their original staking settlement.
