Mt. Gox Extends Creditor Repayment Deadline to October 31, 2027
Mt. Gox has extended its creditor repayment deadline from October 31, 2026, to October 31, 2027, with court approval. According to Foresight News, rehabilitation trustee Nobuaki Kobayashi announced the extension on October 16. Basic repayments, early lump-sum repayments, and intermediate repayments have largely been completed for creditors whose paperwork is in order and whose payment process encountered no issues. Many creditors have not yet received funds because they have not completed required procedures or have faced problems during repayment. The trustee said repayments to those creditors will continue where reasonably practicable.
