Project Eleven Acquires Riva Labs to Expand Post-Quantum Security Capabilities

Digital asset post-quantum security infrastructure company Project Eleven has acquired Riva Labs to expand its capabilities in post-quantum signatures, wallets, multiparty computation, and account abstraction. According to ChainCatcher, the deal also includes Riva Labs’ technology and intellectual property developed on Ethereum and other public blockchains.Riva Labs’ work includes hash-based post-quantum signatures, post-quantum MPC, account abstraction, wallet infrastructure, and hardware signing, and it has demonstrated post-quantum signatures on consumer hardware. Project Eleven said the team and technology will be integrated into its research and product work on post-quantum cryptography, digital asset custody, and blockchain security, while Riva’s use of artificial intelligence in research and engineering will also be brought into the company.Project Eleven CEO and co-founder Alex Pruden said the acquisition will strengthen the research and engineering teams and accelerate the transition of digital assets to post-quantum security. Riva Labs co-founder Matteo Vena said both sides share a similar view of the tools the industry needs and that joining Project Eleven will help scale public blockchain upgrades.
