Securitize Launches Tokenized Nvidia, Tesla Shares on Solana, Stock Jumps More Than 10%

Securitize shares jumped more than 10% after the company launched a tokenized trading service for major U.S.-listed stocks on the Solana network.Cointelegraph reported on Oct. 8 that Securitize officially launched Securitize Stocks that day. The product tokenizes shares of 11 U.S.-listed companies, including Apple, Nvidia, Microsoft and Tesla. Each token is backed 1-for-1 by the underlying stock and preserves dividend and voting rights.Trading will initially be available outside regular market hours through Securitize's registered broker-dealer platform. Settlement will take place in USDC on the Solana network, with Jump Trading serving as the liquidity provider. The company also plans to expand the service to 24-hour trading.Securitize also plans to supply the assets to tokenized securities platforms being developed by the New York Stock Exchange and OKX ICE. Neither platform has set a launch date. Ripple Prime supported the rollout and is reviewing ways to integrate the assets into its institutional trading service. Aave has also been mentioned as a potential partner that could use the tokens as collateral.The launch marks the second sharp rise in Securitize shares this week. The stock gained about 8% on Oct. 6 after the company announced a partnership with LG CNS covering tokenized funds, stocks and stablecoins. Yahoo Finance data show the shares have climbed about 54% over the past month.
