Institutional Bitcoin staking goes live on Stacks at Bitcoin block 966,350. BTC holders and corporate treasuries can now stake Bitcoin in self-custody on Bitcoin L1 to earn a BTC yield, with UTXO Management, a subsidiary of Nakamoto Inc., as the first committed staker through its 4,467 BTC treasury.The launch routes institutional BTC capital through the Stacks network for the first time, giving STX a concrete demand channel tied to treasury allocation rather than retail participation.
