Starknet is upgrading mainnet to v0.14.4, a release that enables block-sized proofs of up to 1.1B L2 gas under SNIP-36, adjusts gas weights, and removes legacy gateway endpoints. Nodes must run Pathfinder v0.24.0 or Juno v0.16.6 beforehand, and brief downtime for private transactions is expected during the rollout.The larger proof size removes transaction computation limits, which opens the network to compute-heavy applications that previously could not fit within block constraints.
