THORChain Says User Returned 10 ETH, Restoring Vault Solvency
THORChain said a user voluntarily returned 10 ETH, restoring the vault’s solvency. According to PANews, an Ethereum single-block reorganization on Oct. 31 led THORChain to mistakenly pay out 10 ETH that it had not received. An automated solvency check immediately paused ETH swaps. About two minutes later, node operators also paused ETH transaction signing to prevent further outflows. As a precaution, nodes then halted transactions on all related chains while the core development team investigated.
