Zcash's five development organizations have agreed that funds removed from circulation under the Network Sustainability Mechanism will begin reissuing in February 2031, following a coinholder poll. The decision sets a fixed date for previously withdrawn ZEC to return to circulating supply.The reissuance introduces a scheduled supply increase that holders can plan around, since the timing is known years in advance. That dilution path can be weighed directly against ZEC's scarcity narrative and its store-of-value positioning.
