Zcash: THORChain adds native ZEC and XMR chains with vaults and pools - By 04 Oct 2026
THORChain is preparing native support for Monero and Zcash by adding both chains and their pools to the network. Vaults will be generated and pools seeded to enable native XMR and ZEC chain support, with the work scheduled for completion by 04 Oct 2026.Native Monero and Zcash pools would give XMR and ZEC their first major permissionless cross-chain swap venue, since both assets have historically been difficult to trade outside centralized exchanges. For THORChain, the addition brings new volume and fee flow to RUNE, as swap activity on the new pools routes through the network's liquidity system.
